The organization

Created in 1987, the Swiss Futnet association (ASFT) has many women and men players primarily performing in the French-speaking part of Switzerland in the canton of Fribourg, Vaud and Valais. Recently, a new club was founded in the German-speaking part of Switzerland in Lucerne.

 

The ASFT's goals :

  • Increase the clubs number
  • Improve the members number
  • Enhance the number of juniors players to ensure the futur of our sport
  • To have a better media visibility
  • To reinforce the clubs' structure : a strong Swiss Association need to be composed of strong clubs

 

History of the association

The Swiss Futnet Association (ASFT) is born in 1987. In the early 1990s tournaments and demonstrations were organized until the création of a official championship in 1994 in the canton of Fribourg. Afterward, the sport grew with the creation of new clubs in the cantons of Fribourg, Vaud, Valais and Geneva. If the club of Geneva is now dissolved, a new club is born in the german-speaking part of Switzerland in Lucern.
